Hits vs. CTF
Practically everytime we have a nerf battle at my house with my clan their ends up being a controversy: Hits or CTF? I am going to delve into the differences and cons and pros between the 2.

We will start with hits. This is the common style of play. I don' t like it because every hit counts. When playing CTF this isn't as big of deal because you can get back in. At the same time, in CTF you tend to have very long and drawn out battles. Hits usually is relatively short, fun battles that don't require a ton of expierience or anything. CTF on the other hand tend to be a more neutral style of game play which requires some skill but not a ton.

CTF, at least the way we play it, is a long game with alot of hits and running. We have a very mixed group in our clan. Half are good and half are average. I like CTF because as stated before it doesn't create so much controversy. At the same time it can actually be more controvertial when dealing with the flags and where they are placed and such.

So which is better? To me CTF is better. Why you may ask? For the simple reason that hits don't matter near as much. This is very important. The biggest problem with nerf is people saying they weren't hit because they "didn't feel it". When playing CTF this problem is demagnified 3 times over. For that single reason I give CTF a decent edge over hits.
