So anyway, I decided after getting my brand new N-Strike pocket strike that I would mod it for 2 purposes. Range and size. This gun after this mod now gets 40+ feet with 10 pumps. Just a quick note: If you want to you can plug the release valve, but in this mod we don't open the gun up in any way.

Ok, start by cutting the about 2 in. off the barrel. I stuck some foam backer rod to ensure nothing went into the airtank while cutting. After I got done the cutting I used some pliers to remove the peg. The air restrictor didn't come out with it and from past expierience its not worth ruining the gun to get out.

Ok, now we need to cut the appropriate 1/2 in. brass. I cut mine about 1 1/2 in. long. An easy way to tell what length your brass should be is just to cut it so that after inserting it into the remaining barrel on the gun, your brass sticks out just past the pumping handle.

Next, I cut a 2 in. piece of PETG (anything that fits tightly over the brass will work here) and airtightly glued the seal at the point where the remaining stock barrel is and also at the end of the brass.

Enjoy. This gun is a really nice sidearm, I already got 1 shot that went about 55 ft. and the accuracy is solid. The size of the gun makes it very convienient. It is still kinda hard to pump though.
