In my mod, I didn't even pry off the orange cap. I just stuck brass into the white barrel after dremeling it out. If you do Cx's Mod on Nerfhaven you can get well over 100 ft. Mine gets about 80 ft. but the ROF is excellent. Accuracy is also very good.
